Age of Man
Duration: Unknown
According to Hap'ti records, the sun deity Wara'hap entrusts various species with the duty of tending to the world and transforming it into something brand new according to their image. The ones to do so before the Hap'ti were an arrogant and greedy people. They devoured all of the animals, shattered the land and isolated from each other in caves. They refused to give way to a successor, and so they were eradicated from the world. The world was mended and repopulated to the best of the deities' abilities, but some remnants of that civilization still remains under the earth.
The ancestors of the Hap'ti were chosen to inherit the world, but they struggled to cope with their weakness. They were fast but their bodies were too frail to assert their right to the world and so they lived in constant fear. One prophet begged Wara'hap for help, asking if this was really all there was to their existence. The deity finally answered, imparting onto them the knowledge of channeling Its power and allowing them to survive and thrive. And so began the Age of Dawn.

The power of channeling allowed them to stand their ground and defend themselves against predators. Their population grew considerably and they settled all over the world, forming some of the cultures that exist in the present day such as the Hap'ti and the Liyap'ti. They developed new new cultures, knowledge and spells that made each of them unique. They all showed their gratitude to Wara'hap by using channeling to its fullest potential and building temples in Its honor.
They discovered that under the earth laid special stones called metals, that could be melted and shaped into sturdy objects. They dug through the earth and ventured into caves, places covered in darkness that not even burrowing animals dared to look into. It was in this abyss were artifacts that did not belong in this world were found. They awoke and began to ooze hatred into the land which took shape of monsters later named Umbrages. The Umbrages decimated everything in their path, seeking to reclaim their place in the world. Many Hap'ti and their kin fought to the death but none was able to stop them, and so they retreated. So began the Age of Dusk.
Age of Dusk
Duration: 100 years and counting.
Umbrages began to multiply and spread all over the world. The mountain-dwelling people were blind with endless civil wars and did not notice their land being overrun. Only one faction, the Liyap'ti, managed to look past the meaningless conflict and get away from the horde. They arrived on an island not yet tainted by the Umbrages which today is called Uraliwa and began to settle on its mountains. Fleeing from the forest of the nearby continent, the Hap'ti soon arrived and its shores. The two peoples came to an agreement despite holding vastly different views, and today they share the land as close allies.
A few years before present day, plans were formed to build a capital city around the central Niku'an Mountains. The mountains themselves would serve as a central place of worship to all Hap'ti, with chambers on the inside and hanging structures clinging to the mountain walls. However, a chamber was found inside of the mountains which contained what looked like artifacts of an ancient civilization. The uncovering of this site caused Umbrages to appear around the area and kill most of the workers. The project is currently on hold until the area can be rid of Umbrages.
The current year is 100th Dusk.
