Tisna

Tisna Summersthird is a Fourth Circle Hap'ti who lives in [Farm Settlement]. His charm and connections make him quite popular despite his low status, and he loves the attention. He nests with Alpa and Yukaruna.

Appearance

Tisna is average in both frame and stature. The fur on his upper half is colored copper, while his lower half is mostly black with a few patches of copper. His white-furred abdomen is sized average.

Tisna's usual outfit consists of a lightweight tunic and a short skirt. He accessorizes with several bracelets (or bangles, if not working) and anklets addorned with multicolored gems.

History

Tisna is the only child of a Third Circle couple who specialized in pottery and sculptures. He was set to follow in their footsteps and joined into the Third Circle with several endorsements. He proved to be excellent at his work, but he would rather listen to customers' stories instead of working alone. After some negotiation, he was accepted into the Fourth Circle where he would work as a permanent courier. He met Alpa during his child and they quickly became best friends, later forming a nest with them and the First Circle Yukaruna.

Description

Personality

Tisna is a very charismatic Hap'ti with many connections. He jokes, plays and flirts with everyone which inevitably ends up with him stepping on people's toes every once in a while. He is keenly aware of his social status and gender role and loves to play into it by dressing the part and letting people order him around — even when they are on an equal playing field. In return, he earns the favor of people from every Circle, which he usually cashes in exchange for stories and secrets. His decision to go down a Circle was made so that he could connect with people from all over Uraliwa; he hates when others imply that decision was a downgrade compared to his previous career. He does not express his frustrations publicly, instead venting them to Alpa who eagerly writes it down in their records.

Other than socializing, Tisna enjoys playing the harp and dressing up. He hates being alone for long periods of time so he will join in any activity if his usual friends and acquaintances are not around.

Beliefs

Tisna is neither as faithful as Alpa nor a skeptic like Yukaruna. He does not outright reject mythology and folklore, but instead seeks to understand what the individuals who passed down each story wanted to convey to their listeners. He believes that the bonds between people can overcome all differences, and tries to understand each person's point of view even if he does not agree with them. He has firm morals but can become conflicted after hearing many differing opinions from those around him.

Skills

Tisna is gifted with with perfect speed and agility, which he uses in his job as a courier to deliver parcels on foot quicker than anyone else. Once he arrives at a new settlement, he uses his social skills to connect and gather information from people from all walks of life. He still retains some ability as a sculptor from his time in the Third Circle, though he lacks practice. He plays the harp at an above average level but his singing is mediocre at best.

Relationships

• Family: Tisna's parents have always loved him, even after his decision to leave the Third Circle and pursue a different career than them. He still spends time with them regularly and mantains a healthy relationship with both.
• Alpa: As Tisna's childhood friend, he would do anything for and with Alpa even when he's not entirely sure what they're doing exactly. He uses his connection to try and give Alpa a more positive image, though he's often frustrated by Alpa's unusual behavior. Still, he holds nothing but love and respect for them.
• Yukaruna: Tisna is obssessed with her. He loves being bossed around by her and will give her unprompted gifts often and in front of everyone, which embarasses her to a great degree. Behind closed doors, he can appreciate her more tender side and helps her deal with the stress of her high-ranking job.
